Project: HOUND Announcement

Written by Jacob Anderson

As the gaming market changes, we at Starveil Game Studios have decided to take a gamble; We have decided to make a horror game! Project: HOUND is our first and only game (as of writing) and we are super excited about that!

Project: HOUND is an open-world horror game where you, a veteranarian, attempts to help a man who’s dog had rabies like symptoms, but in reality? It was something much darker. Just a few months ago, the US Government announced it was at war with Canada, and therefore they decided toi build an air force base on the US-Canadian border. The base was built in northern Michigan in the small town of Trentonville. However, the military soon realized there is only enough power in the town for the town itself, there is nowhere near enough power for the base. Becauise of this complication, the US Air Force decided to build a nuclear reactor near the town to power the base.

There is just one problem; The town of Trentonville, and therefore the reactor, is built in a very frigid area of Michigan, in fact, the coldest part of the entire state. Because of it’s location, the town just so happened to be built on top of buried permafrost. What is this permafrost hiding? A desease that, upon the construction of the Nuclear Reactor, was mutated to tranform animals into horrifying creatures.
